The Evidence / Proof That Jehovah Witnesses / I.B.S.A. Have NEVER Been Gods Spirit Directed Organisation .
by smiddy inthis is a topic i think every ex jw should have oppurtunity to contribute toward .. it has been 144 years since c.t.russell first published "zions watchtower and herald of christs presence" in 1879 .. red flag 1 " zions watchtower " ?
obviously c.t.russell had sympathy with the zionist movement of the day.. "christs presence" in 1879 ?
that is right and armageddon was to occur in 1914.. when that did not occur 1916-18 was promoted.

This is one.
There involvement with the UNO as an NGO, for a period of about 10 years if I remember correctly.
This is blatant hypocrisy, christian neutrality, really.
To think I gave up my military career to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Stephen Lett admits income/expenditure shortfall as he reminds Witnesses to donate “valuable things”
by defender of truth init's well worth taking a look at the article, it will only take you a few minutes.
but i would particularly like to highlight this part: .
if you are going to divulge a shortfall in funds, particularly with the aim of leveraging more donations (or valuable things) from a pool of supporters who are already lagging in this regard, the least you can do is treat them like adults and give some hard numbers.

they have $$$$$ Billions of dollars no doubt in Hedge Funds making money
They could have billions of dollars in hedge funds losing money. Do not think for a moment that hedge funds always make money, over the past three months there have many unexpected extreme swings on the financial market. Euro, oil, gold, Swiss Franc too name a few.

Apostate views?
by Richard C B inif a brother is starting to look at material on the internet and starts to have serious doubts about the jw organisation and questions the integrity of the governing body.
what steps would be taken to by the congregation to readjust his thinking.
and also if the congregation is not aware of this but he has confided in an individual how would that individual try to help such a brother?.

" Do you believe that the governing body is Jehovah's sole appointed channel?"
Answer yes of course.
After all we all know that the name of the god of the bible is not Jehovah.
Jehovah is a name that first occurred in the year 1270, so Jehovah is a made-up name belonging to a man-made religion. -

JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES OLD SUPREME COURT CASE (THEY LOST) COMES UP IN THE NEWS concerning TERROR and HATE SPEECH!
by Terry ini know about it and i'll explain the reason why.it has to do with terrorism and hate speech!________________________.
in researching my book about jehovah's witnesses, (i wept by the rivers of babylon) i studied many supreme court cases jehovah''s witnesses were fighting during the 1940's.. one such case is: 1942 supreme court ruling chaplinsky v. new hampshire.. if you had to use just two words to describe this case those two words would be: fighting words.. __________________________.
a jw street preacher incited his fellow citizens to riot against him by insulting everything they held dear: their god, their religion, their government, and their flag.. (that doesn't surprise you, does it?:).

Crazyguy and DATA-DOG
Now if I incited Mr. Somebody to hate you and call you both "Crazy Apostates" and then he shot you both as well, Mr. Somebody would be guilty of a hate crime under American law. What about me, who incited "Mr. Somebody" to hate you, I didn't incite him to shoot you, but just to hate you, this hate cause him to shoot you. Am I guilty of a crime because I incited him to hate.
The Watchtower incites hate, have done for years. Hate leads to serious crimes.

They wont see any ROI on their new ventures for sometime.I beg to differ there. Considering the labor is free, they could sell a complex immediately after completion, they would have to make some pretty good excuse to do so, but they could.
Another aspect (I am not really sure on this one), if a building complex cost the bOrg $150 000 000,00. After completion that book value is considerably more, any estimation on the value of a building takes into consideration the cost in the real world where labor has to be paid for. Having lets they say $250 000 000,00 on the books instead of the costs of just $150 000 000,00 would allow them theoretically to gain a load from a bank for other investments or to cover any short-term cash flow problem.

Well in my case, the elders have as yet not spoken to me. I only stopped going to meetings 6 weeks ago.
What they have done is:Gave a talk in the congregation on apostate literature on the Internet
and
Made it clear to my family including my 14 year old daughter that I was "mentally diseased".

If anybody is interested there is an interesting article on "Hate Speech":
http://www.article19.org/pages/en/hate-speech-more.html
The following should perhaps receive a special mention:
- In a 2001 Joint Statement, the UN, OSCE and OAS Special Mandates on the right to freedom of expression set out a number of conditions which hate speech laws should respect:
- No one should be penalised for statements which are true
- No one should be penalised for the dissemination of hate speech unless it has been shown that they did so with the intention of inciting discrimination, hostility or violence
- The right of journalists to decide how best to communicate information and ideas to the public should be respected, particularly when they are reporting on racism and intolerance
- No one should be subject to prior censorship
- Any imposition of sanctions by courts should be in strict conformity with the principle of proportionality.
- These provide a good basis for assessing the legitimacy of any particular hate speech law.
I think that declaring anybody "mentally diseased" and shunning them is "with the intention of inciting discrimination".
Although this is not law in many lands as mentioned by Ruby456. -

This is clearly laid out in the "Strafgesetztbuch § 130 Volksverhetzung" (Criminal law book § 130 sedition) you can access this at http://dejure.org/gesetze/StGB/130.html, however this is in German.
Just to paraphrase some of it, not a translation:(1) Whoever disturbs the public peace in anyway ,
shall be punished by imprisonment from three months to five years.
1. to incite hate, violence or arbitrary action against a national, … religious … against any part of the population or against an individual due to their affiliation to a particular group or
2. due to this, attacks the human dignity because of their affiliation to a particular group …..The text then goes on and expands on this.
